Volvo’s family facelift

Volvo has announced a raft of powertrain and interior updates for its V70, XC70 and S80 models, including a new version of the 1.6-litre DRIVe diesel engine.
Under-bonnet changes focus on oil-burners, with the 2.4-litre twin-turbo D5 and 2.0-litre D3 units each receiving upgrades. The former now produces 215bhp – up 10bhp from the old model – and gives the S80 combined fuel economy of 57mpg with the manual gearbox, a figure which drops to 47mpg with the automatic option. Audi S5 facelift spied

It’s lights, camera, action for the new S5! These are the first spy shots of the facelifted coupe, undergoing high-speed testing at the Nurburgring.
The only visual changes have been applied at the rear, where the lamp clusters have been replaces with units similar to the A7 Sportback. The front end, with its deep front spoiler and chrome-rimmed fog lights remains unchaged. The same upgrades will be applied to the standard car, Cabriolet and Sportback models too.

Jaguar XF facelift leaked

The Cat’s out of the bag! This image purporting to depict the facelifted Jaguar XF has been leaked onto the internet ahead of its planned debut at this month’s New York motor show.
Sporting a new front end similar to that of its larger XJ sibling, the updated XF bins the large wraparound headlamps of the current model in favour of the narrower units first seen on the C-XF concept. In so doing, the XF now appears closer to how we expected it to when it was launched in 2007.
