Tuning firm reveals new Beetle RS

It’s true that the original VW Beetle and Porsche 356 were designed by the same man – Ferdinand Porsche, but this car takes the link a step too far!
Designed and built by staff at VWvortex, the world’s largest VW enthusiast website, the team was given early access to the next generation Beetle, due in showrooms in January 2012, and this is what they’ve come up with – a GT3 RS-apeing paint job.

BMW 1M Coupe drifting video

BMW’s M Division is keen to prove that it’s back on form with the new 1 M Coupé – and this new video is a great showcase for the baby M Car’s playful nature.
Produced by BMW’s Canadian arm, it shows the new car powersliding its way through a series of CGI obstacles, and although it might not quite be as good (or dangerous) as doing the stunt for real, it’s still a hugely impressive piece of driving skill.

One of our favourite hot-hatches is set to get even hotter. Renault has announced a special edition of the Renaultsport Megane 250 called the Megane Trophy.
Riding on the stiffer Cup chassis, the newcomer gets power boosted from 247bhp to 261bhp, with torque increased by 20Nm for a total of 260Nm making this the most powerful road-going Renaultsport Megane to date.With the increase in power comes slight improvements to performance. New Ford Mustang set for world debut

A big slice of America is crossing the Atlantic: the Mustang is heading to UK showrooms, Auto Express can reveal. To coincide with the muscle car’s 50th anniversary in 2014, Ford will launch it across the world, and in right-hand drive for the first time.
Sources have revealed that dealers are being told to prepare for its arrival. The newcomer will sit at the top of the range alongside regular models such as the Fiesta and Focus in dealerships.
