VW’s hottest new Golf is on its way. These are the first images of the full-bodied Volkswagen Mk 7 Golf, proving that the hatch remains on track for a 2012 launch date.
Unlike previous shots, these pictures were taken in the USA, and give much more away in terms of design and detail. Looking lower and longer than the current Golf, This is the first time Volkswagen is using optical camouflage together with some extra black masking over the front and rear. Indicating the Golf is in line for some big design changes.

Eight out of 10 Brits driven to distraction

A study conducted by moneysupermarket.com the leading price comparison website, has revealed that just over eight out of 10 drivers in Britain get distracted while behind the wheel.
Eighty-two per cent of those motorists quizzed on the issue admitted to being preoccupied when out and about on the roads by a range of different distractions, with changing radio stations and swapping CDs the main reason for losing concentration. Eating and drinking and taking phone calls were next in the rankings, while an alarming five per cent confessed to falling asleep or dozing.

The storming new Jaguar XKR-S will be available as a convertible, and here are the pictures that prove it. Our team of spies caught this Volvano Red prototype testing at the Nurburgring in Germany, and despite a blacked-out front bumper, there’s no question about which model we’re looking at.
